Conducting research and making tools to improve public health is a goal shared by both the University of Maryland at College Park (UMD) and Fraunhofer USA CESE. Through the DiaSocial project, the UMD Center for Health Information and Decision Systems (CHIDS) is implementing ways to make technology more accessible to manage Diabetes health, particularly in aging populations.
